ABOUT US

Madison Place Community Church is a Christian fellowship and part of the Body of Christ in Cincinnati.

Some distinctive marks about us are that many of our members live in community together, in the spirit of the first church in Jerusalem described in the book of Acts. Those who do live like this live a life devoted to studying and living the Scriptures, developing loving relationships with one another, a prayerful life, and sharing all things in common (see Acts 2:42-47).

We do these things not as ends in themselves, but in our desire to honor our Lord Jesus, and to make Him known in the world. He told us:
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.  By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
(John 13:34-35)
In addition to this, we are committed to telling anyone who will listen about the Good News—the forgiveness of sins in Jesus. We are also committed to serving the Body of Christ locally and around the world, as well as the needy and broken.

This is a very short “About Us” entry because our joy is to talk about our Lord Jesus, not about ourselves. Also, internet searching is a poor method for really getting to know anyone; therefore, we believe short and simple is best. We hope that you find it helpful in understanding some of our vision and heart as a congregation.

May the Lord bless you. Amen.
